The Metro Hoops Developmental League (D-LEAGUE) is the perfect blend of skill-building and game-time action for boys and girls in grades K through 9. With a proven track record of developing elite players, the D-LEAGUE stands as one of the most respected youth basketball leagues in the region.

Divisions for Every Age Group

The league is thoughtfully divided into four skill-appropriate divisions to ensure every player is matched with the right level of competition:

• Super-Biddy Ball : Kindergarten – 1st Grade
• Biddy Ball : 2nd – 4th Grade
• NCAA Division : 5th – 6th Grade
• NBA Division : 7th – 9th Grade

What to Expect Each Session

Each session includes a combination of skill development and competitive gameplay:

• 30–45 minutes of specialized instruction focused on basketball fundamentals
• Followed by a league game with certified referees
• All players receive equal play time with a minimum of 2 quarters per game
• A total of 7 sessions , including both practice and gameplay

Players are placed on teams after the first session and continue with league play in the following weeks. The environment is structured, supportive, and focused on helping young athletes apply what they learn in real game situations.

Over the years, Metro Hoops has helped produce more than 75 Division I players, and countless standout high school athletes across the region.

Players in grades 2 through 8 will regularly face off against some of the top talent in the metro area, ensuring strong competition and valuable on-court experience every session.

• Roster space is limited to 40 players per session – early registration is highly recommended
• League Fee : $165 with early registration / $185 standard registration
